Balanced pool water has the right pH, total alkalinity and calcium hardness levels to prevent corrosive or scale-forming conditions.This is vital to:

  • Improve chemical effectiveness
  • Prevent corrosion of plaster surfaces and metal components
  • Prevent the formation of scale
  • Prevent eye irritation

Choose the appropriate balancer product from those listed below:


pH Up

  • Soda Ash 6 lb.
  • Raises the pH in pool water
  • Guards against skin and eye irritation
  • Protects from corrosion of metal fixtures, etching of plaster, and wrinkling of vinyl liners

 

 



pH Down

  • Dry Acid 8 lb.
  • Lowers the pH in pool water
  • Helps prevent scaling, cloudy water, and reduced effectiveness of chlorine
  • Safer to store and use than liquid acids


Total Alkalinity Increaser

  • 10 lb. box
  • Raises total alkalinity levels
  • Controls pH bounce, staining of surfaces, and corrosion of pool equipment

Calcium Hardness Increaser

  • 5 lb. size
  • Raises calcium hardness level in pool water
  • Helps to prevent corrosion of plaster finishes and metal equipment


Chlorine Stabilizer

  • 5 lb. size
  • 100% Cyanuric Acid
  • Prevents chlorine residual loss due to sunlight
